Peterson Racing is based in Sparks, Nevada, and has been currently active for 11 years, although dad Scott raced for years and is an original IKF member. Presently, Peterson Racing includes D Scott Peterson (Dad), currently enjoying the fact that the boys are grown up and have begun active careers At this time, only Jess Peterson is racing, mostly as a serious hobby. Dad's intention was always to use go kart racing as an incentive to do well in school. The result is that Jess has a degree in Business and Finance and recently joined Peterson Wealth Mgmt as an advisor and research analyst. Matt Peterson (25), who retired from racing while in college, is a mechanical engineer and acts as Jess's tuner and mechanic.
