Peterson Racing is based in Sparks, Nevada, and has been currently active for 11 years. Peterson Racing includes D Scott Peterson (Dad), currently retired from racing and the crew chief. At this time, only Jess Peterson is active. Matt Peterson (24) is a mechanical engineer and is working on his career. Peterson racing competes in the sprint division of the International Kart Federation in IKF Region 11, the IKF Grand Nationals and at occasional races in Region 7. We also race in the various TAG Expert and KF 2 series, wining the TAG Expert class in 2005 at the Infineon kart racing facility at Sears Pt., CA. Currently, Jess's main focus is the Snap-on Stars of Karting and ProKart's new KF2 division. In 2009 we will race for MMS Karting in Reno, NV on a CRG.
